The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Damazy Popowicz struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Aycan Salih didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NARI ID. Damazy Popowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute, Damazy Popowicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Baybars İpekdal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Şadi Çağan made a huge save. NARI ID's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mehmet Arif Tükel 20 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Kdz Ereğli Futbol Kulübü's Mehmet Arif Tükel got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manfred Ugalde's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aycan Salih read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Damazy Popowicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aycan Salih having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Damazy Popowicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 46 minutes, Timur Şerafeddin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NARI ID's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timur Şerafeddin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mehmet Arif Tükel made a kick off. Şadi Çağan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baybars İpekdal, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 53 minutes into the game, Felipe Robles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NARI ID's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kdz Ereğli Futbol Kulübü the free kick. After a rather tough play, NARI ID's Felipe Robles got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Şadi Çağan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Arif Tükel, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kdz Ereğli Futbol Kulübü's goalkeeper Aycan Salih, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baybars İpekdal in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Şadi Çağan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manfred Ugalde got free with Aycan Salih in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Şadi Çağan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baybars İpekdal, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 73rd match minute, NARI ID was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Yılğıralp to maneuver through the defense. Şadi Çağan came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Kdz Ereğli Futbol Kulübü's Mehmet Arif Tükel. But to his dismay, Mehmet Arif Tükel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Damazy Popowicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Damazy Popowicz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aycan Salih came out and tried to block the shot, but Damazy Popowicz slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 85th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Kdz Ereğli Futbol Kulübü's Mehmet Arif Tükel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Şadi Çağan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 92 minutes into the match, Kdz Ereğli Futbol Kulübü's Baybars İpekdal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Şadi Çağan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Baybars İpekdal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Kdz Ereğli Futbol Kulübü were victorious despite being under pressure from NARI ID for much of the match.
