The corner led to Xenop United's Suat Sefa getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 27 played minutes Gölova JK got a freekick which was hit by Güneş Satır. Alptuğ Akgöze struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Afşin Çelebioğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Xenop United. Afşin Çelebioğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anıl Ozan Tükelay, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Afşin Çelebioğlu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anıl Ozan Tükelay went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Gölova JK booed when Xenop United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Suat Sefa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hurşit Tuğsan to make the kick off. In the 58th match minute, Xenop United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alptuğ Akgöze to maneuver through the defense. Kartal İstanbul's late challenge caught a Gölova JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kartal İstanbul helped the player get up and apologised. Kartal İstanbul hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute of the match Türker Kabak shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emilio Eguzki showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mehmet Ediz Uyun hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute of the match Songurbey Ayıkoğlu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emilio Eguzki skillfully saved the ball. Emilio Eguzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ömür Okanay in the 68th minute of the match. Xenop United's Emilio Eguzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hurşit Tuğsan in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Xenop United's goal looked a bit too open when Ömür Okanay came free, but Emilio Eguzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
