When Alperen Şevki fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Şantiye 04's protests and gave Alperen Şevki a yellow card for diving instead. Boğaçhan Asya took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for kaya Akbaş. Şantiye 04's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Ankara Spor Kulübü's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Hamit Durkaya came free, but Mehmet Ali Zafir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ankara Spor Kulübü's zone, Arif Nihat Özsel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehmet Ali Zafir came out of the goal and Arif Nihat Özsel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Ankara Spor Kulübü's Halis Balyemez got a free kick in the 11th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Ankara Spor Kulübü's Atilla Bumin Dolunay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. kaya Akbaş made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Mustafa Hamit Durkaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Mehmet Ali Zafir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ankara Spor Kulübü getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Atilla Bumin Dolunay hit a great ball. Mustafa Hamit Durkaya's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mehmet Ali Zafir read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Şantiye 04's goal looked a bit too open when Atilla Bumin Dolunay came free, but kaya Akbaş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nusret Ünveren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Mehmet Ali Zafir made a huge save. Mustafa Hamit Durkaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute, Boğaçhan Asya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mustafa Hamit Durkaya to make the kick off. The supporters of Ankara Spor Kulübü booed when Şantiye 04 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alperen Şevki didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Atilla Bumin Dolunay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but kaya Akbaş was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Mehmet Ali Zafir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Hamit Durkaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, kaya Akbaş successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mustafa Hamit Durkaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Ali Zafir having to interfere. kaya Akbaş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilla Bumin Dolunay in the 89th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Ankara Spor Kulübü's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Hamit Durkaya came free, but Mehmet Ali Zafir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mustafa Hamit Durkaya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
