Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tarık Renan got the match started through his kick off. Mehmet Ali Zafir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Polat Başayoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Fadıl Çiltay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilla Bumin Dolunay in the 7th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Mecitözü's goal looked a bit too open when Atilla Bumin Dolunay came free, but Fadıl Çiltay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tarık Renan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Mehmet Ali Zafir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Adem Sıratullah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artun Zeki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ankara Spor Kulübü's Kandemir Er got a free kick in the 25th minute. Tarık Renan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Ali Zafir having to interfere. Mehmet Ali Zafir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Polat Başayoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mehmet Ali Zafir came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Mecitözü's Tarık Renan. But to his dismay, Tarık Renan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Mehmet Ali Zafir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Polat Başayoğlu in the 34th minute of play. Fadıl Çiltay was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Atilla Bumin Dolunay capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Atilla Bumin Dolunay really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Atilla Bumin Dolunay made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Ankara Spor Kulübü's zone, Tarık Renan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehmet Ali Zafir came out of the goal and Tarık Renan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tarık Renan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Ali Zafir having to interfere. 65 minutes into the game, Yiğitcan İşcan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Mehmet Ali Zafir was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Polat Başayoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ankara Spor Kulübü's goalkeeper Mehmet Ali Zafir, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bektaş Ali Metin's late challenge caught a Mecitözü's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bektaş Ali Metin helped the player get up and apologised. If Mahsun Yurday had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
