Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Korkutalp Yörük got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute Selman Rahim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muhittin Civanbaht saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cihangir Baybars had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Sile getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Aytaç Isfahanlı hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Korkutalp Yörük's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oğuzhan Recep was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Cihangir Baybars's late challenge caught a Sile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cihangir Baybars helped the player get up and apologised. Sile's Aytaç Isfahanlı got his second yellow card of the match in the 21st minute. The referee ordered Aytaç Isfahanlı off the ground. After a rather tough play, Sile's Aytaç Isfahanlı got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Bedir Olguner, 23 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Selman Rahim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muhittin Civanbaht having to interfere. The supporters of Sile booed when Gediz SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zühtü Özerkin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Korkutalp Yörük kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Selman Rahim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muhittin Civanbaht having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sile's zone, Selman Rahim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Muhittin Civanbaht came out of the goal and Selman Rahim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Sile's Tayyip Ulum got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Cihangir Baybars received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Muhittin Civanbaht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cihangir Baybars to make the kick off. Muhittin Civanbaht made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Selman Rahim sent off a good shot on target. Altay Enginsoy kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Muhittin Civanbaht showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cihangir Baybars, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. If Selman Rahim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cihangir Baybars received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Muhittin Civanbaht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gediz SK's Cihangir Baybars got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Muhittin Civanbaht was a little too slow when Cihangir Baybars got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 0-1. If Selman Rahim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sile's Sadettin Hüdayioğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Sadettin Hüdayioğlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oğuzhan Recep. Gediz SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sadettin Hüdayioğlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Muhittin Civanbaht made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kılıç Aktaşlı in the 94th minute of play. If Selman Rahim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Gediz SK players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Sile from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
