A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, Tepebasi's Mustafa Ekrem Gürtuna got a free kick in the 20th minute. Yavuz Selim Vecihi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fatih Kaptan came out and tried to block the shot, but Yavuz Selim Vecihi slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 21st minute. In the 26th minute, Yağız Öz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 32ndth minute of the game Yavuz Selim Vecihi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tepebasi's Fatih Kaptan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 33rdth minute of the game Kuddusî Sabancı who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karadeniz Futbol Akademi's Hüsamettin Uram was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 42nd match minute, Tepebasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Ekrem Gürtuna to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yağız Öz to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Tepebasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Ekrem Gürtuna to maneuver through the defense. Karadeniz Futbol Akademi's Ediz Şimşek got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 55th minute of the match Ali Vedat Cantürk shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fatih Kaptan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Yavuz Selim Vecihi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ediz Şimşek struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Fatih Kaptan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karadeniz Futbol Akademi. After 66 played minutes Tepebasi got a freekick which was hit by Şahap Hacıağa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ediz Şimşek in the 68th minute of play forced Tepebasi's goalkeeper Fatih Kaptan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gökçek Altuğ's late challenge caught a Tepebasi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gökçek Altuğ helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd minute, Gökçek Altuğ hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute, Gökçek Altuğ hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tepebasi's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
