Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cem Erçetin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 5 played minutes Espiye got a freekick which was hit by Serbülent Keskiner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cem Erçetin in the 8th minute of play forced Karkamis's goalkeeper Mustafa Hakan Kunt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hadi Demiroğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Mustafa Hakan Kunt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hadi Demiroğlu came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Espiye fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hadi Demiroğlu couldn't finish the play. Hadi Demiroğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Karkamis's İbrahim Efe Paksu got a free kick in the 14th minute. If Serbülent Keskiner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serbülent Keskiner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Mustafa Hakan Kunt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cem Erçetin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Hakan Kunt having to interfere. Mustafa Hakan Kunt came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Espiye's Hadi Demiroğlu. But to his dismay, Hadi Demiroğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 28 played minutes Karkamis got a freekick which was hit by Rafettin Kani. In the 31st minute Espiye were awarded a corner. İldeniz Mansur went to the cornerflag to take it. Espiye's İldeniz Mansur was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mustafa Hakan Kunt in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 33rd minute Cem Erçetin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Hakan Kunt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Espiye's goalkeeper Başar Orkut, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mustafa Hakan Kunt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cem Erçetin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, İbrahim Efe Paksu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Espiye getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Doğukan Beysun hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cem Erçetin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Melih Sökmener struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Başar Orkut didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karkamis. After 56 played minutes Karkamis got a freekick which was hit by Andaç Aşkın. Mustafa Hakan Kunt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hadi Demiroğlu in the 57th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Karkamis's goal looked a bit too open when Cem Erçetin came free, but Mustafa Hakan Kunt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Hadi Demiroğlu made a precise shot to the right of Mustafa Hakan Kunt. Karkamis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Karkamis's Mustafa Hakan Kunt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cem Erçetin in the 78th minute of play. When Cem Erçetin came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Espiye fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cem Erçetin couldn't finish the play. Mustafa Hakan Kunt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cem Erçetin, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 84th minute, İbrahim Efe Paksu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hadi Demiroğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aykan Reha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Başar Orkut made a huge save. Karkamis's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
