Murat Raşit made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when İshak Orbey sent off a good shot on target. Aykut Bilkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Refik Halit Cebir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Metin Şendoğan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Geçkinli booed when Yarimada FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erubiel Ponce didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 92 minutes, Ahmet Ziya Sağbilge mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Geçkinli and the Yarimada FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 93 played minutes Geçkinli got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Ziya Sağbilge. Aykut Bilkan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Refik Halit Cebir, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Geçkinli's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
