Ergün Sahat showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Kuddusî Doğanhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ergün Sahat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antalyaspor's Kuddusî Doğanhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ergün Sahat in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Afifemspor's goalkeeper Kadir Şatıroğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ahmet Bülent Tuğaltan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Kadir Şatıroğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute Ahmet Bülent Tuğaltan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kadir Şatıroğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kadir Şatıroğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabahattin Onurkan in the 44th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sabahattin Onurkan to strike the kick off in the second half. When Emirhan Öksüz fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Antalyaspor's protests and gave Emirhan Öksüz a yellow card for diving instead. After 52 played minutes Antalyaspor got a freekick which was hit by Emirhan Öksüz. Bayındır Esay took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kuddusî Doğanhan. Antalyaspor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ahmet Bülent Tuğaltan struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Kadir Şatıroğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Antalyaspor. Kadir Şatıroğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabahattin Onurkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The supporters of Afifemspor booed when Antalyaspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hasan Tahsin Arslantürk didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ergün Sahat in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kuddusî Doğanhan saved Antalyaspor from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Sabahattin Onurkan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Antalyaspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Sabahattin Onurkan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kadir Şatıroğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Emirhan Öksüz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ahmet Bülent Tuğaltan might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kadir Şatıroğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet Bülent Tuğaltan ran back to his position shaking his head. Kadir Şatıroğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabahattin Onurkan in the 73rd minute of play. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Afifemspor's goalkeeper Kadir Şatıroğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sabahattin Onurkan in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kadir Şatıroğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ahmet Bülent Tuğaltan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Bülent Tuğaltan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kadir Şatıroğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Onurhan Başayoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kuddusî Doğanhan having to interfere. Ahmet Bülent Tuğaltan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Kadir Şatıroğlu made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ergün Sahat in the 97th minute of play forced Antalyaspor's goalkeeper Kuddusî Doğanhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antalyaspor were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Afifemspor to leave the ground with a draw.
