Kandira FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Batı Değer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arslan Yankı breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mahmut Ceberut charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mahmut Ceberut the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd minute of the match Raik Resat shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arslan Yankı showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 24 minutes, Baykal Tanyol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Körfez and the Kandira FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. 26 minutes into the match, Batı Değer notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Körfez's Arslan Yankı. Arslan Yankı was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Batı Değer in the 29th minute of play forced Körfez's goalkeeper Arslan Yankı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Kandira FK's goalkeeper Fetih İlksen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ziya Onur Akpınar. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Necati Üstünbay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Mahmut Ceberut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fetih İlksen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ziya Onur Akpınar in the 54th minute of the match. Körfez's Baykal Tanyol got his second yellow card of the match in the 55th minute. The referee ordered Baykal Tanyol off the ground. After 56 played minutes Körfez got a freekick which was hit by Baykal Tanyol. Korcan Tolun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Batı Değer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arslan Yankı having to interfere.
