Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) YILDIZLAR FC's Baykal Ülken started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. YILDIZLAR FC's İbrahim Ethem Hüdayioğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fevzi Okanay in the 12th minute of play forced YILDIZLAR FC's goalkeeper Berker Rıza Seyidhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in YILDIZLAR FC's zone, Ahmet Nedim Yaltıray stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Berker Rıza Seyidhan came out of the goal and Ahmet Nedim Yaltıray tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind YILDIZLAR FC's goalkeeper Berker Rıza Seyidhan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Baykal Ülken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baykam Ziver having to interfere. Víkingur Gøta's Baykam Ziver proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Víkingur Gøta from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Víkingur Gøta booed when YILDIZLAR FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mutlu Tunçöven didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mesut Hazar, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Berker Rıza Seyidhan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdurrezzak Köklem's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 36th match minute, Víkingur Gøta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emir Andaç to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when İbrahim Ethem Hüdayioğlu got free with Baykam Ziver in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 38 minutes into the match, Víkingur Gøta's goal looked a bit too open when Baykal Ülken came free, but Baykam Ziver reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. YILDIZLAR FC's İbrahim Ethem Hüdayioğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baykal Ülken in the 41st minute of play forced Víkingur Gøta's goalkeeper Baykam Ziver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdurrezzak Köklem in the 47th minute of play forced YILDIZLAR FC's goalkeeper Berker Rıza Seyidhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 minutes, Mirza Konuralp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the YILDIZLAR FC and the Víkingur Gøta players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdurrezzak Köklem to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Víkingur Gøta's Ahmet Nedim Yaltıray nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Berker Rıza Seyidhan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 64 minutes, İbrahim Ethem Hüdayioğlu made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Víkingur Gøta's Baykam Ziver tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 68 minutes, Baykal Ülken managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. YILDIZLAR FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baykal Ülken was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Víkingur Gøta's Baykam Ziver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esen Özinan in the 73rd minute of play. In the 78th minute, Víkingur Gøta's Abdurrezzak Köklem ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Berker Rıza Seyidhan. Berker Rıza Seyidhan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Berker Rıza Seyidhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdurrezzak Köklem in the 81st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celalettin Ceyhan during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Celalettin Ceyhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Berker Rıza Seyidhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdurrezzak Köklem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baykal Ülken blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baykam Ziver having to make a save. İbrahim Ethem Hüdayioğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baykam Ziver having to interfere. In the 97th match minute, Víkingur Gøta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fevzi Okanay to maneuver through the defense. Baykal Ülken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Baykam Ziver tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see YILDIZLAR FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
