Halil İbrahim Kurtaran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Geçer having to interfere. GaLaTaSaRaY's Abdulaziz Uğurata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bayındır Vahapoğlu in the 33rd minute of play. After 35 minutes, Özal Özertem made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. GaLaTaSaRaY's Abdulaziz Uğurata tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Abdulaziz Uğurata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bayındır Vahapoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 46 minutes of play, Ödemis JK's Bayındır Vahapoğlu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abdulaziz Uğurata was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Ödemis JK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Özal Özertem could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Abdulaziz Uğurata made a huge save. Bayındır Vahapoğlu struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Abdulaziz Uğurata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ödemis JK. If Özal Özertem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind GaLaTaSaRaY's goalkeeper Abdulaziz Uğurata, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Özal Özertem ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abdulaziz Uğurata was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. If Mahir Keyfer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Bayındır Vahapoğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abdulaziz Uğurata was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Özal Özertem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ödemis JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Özal Özertem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdulaziz Uğurata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute, Özal Özertem left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ödemis JK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Ömür Çapan hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Tayyar Sayrak kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After having played for 86 minutes, Halil İbrahim Kurtaran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GaLaTaSaRaY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Halil İbrahim Kurtaran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Özal Özertem might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abdulaziz Uğurata. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Özal Özertem ran back to his position shaking his head.
