The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 38 minutes, Emrullah Harmandalı mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yavuzeli FK and the DeSnA players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Yavuzeli FK getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Emrullah Harmandalı hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, Ersin Onatkan notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Yavuzeli FK's Baybars Korgan. Baybars Korgan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 73rd match minute, DeSnA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oğuzhan Kemal to maneuver through the defense. Kuddusî Özok received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Peyami Yeten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
