Hamza Derelioğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hamza Derelioğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 5 played minutes Gökceada got a freekick which was hit by Hamza Derelioğlu. In the 6th match minute, Oran was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reşat Zeren to maneuver through the defense. Gökceada's Yiğit Can Uygunel got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Oran booed when Gökceada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamza Derelioğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aytek Uğursoy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tansel Bağışhan in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute, Oran's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tansel Bağışhan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Tansel Bağışhan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Aytek Uğursoy when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 26 minutes in the game, Tansel Bağışhan fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Aytek Uğursoy having to interfere. After having played for 28 minutes, Tansel Bağışhan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gökceada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tansel Bağışhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tansel Bağışhan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Aytek Uğursoy made a huge save. In the 40th minute, Kuzey Burçhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tansel Bağışhan to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Oran's goal looked a bit too open when Tansel Bağışhan came free, but Aytek Uğursoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Tansel Bağışhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gökceada's supporters rose to their feet, but Tansel Bağışhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aytek Uğursoy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aytek Uğursoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tansel Bağışhan in the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sarper Eyüp in the 64th minute of play forced Oran's goalkeeper Aytek Uğursoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Oran's goalkeeper Aytek Uğursoy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tansel Bağışhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Aytek Uğursoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But to his dismay, Yiğit Can Uygunel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Tansel Bağışhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aytek Uğursoy having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gökceada had played much better football throughout.
