Berkan Şehzat was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Öztürk Tuner capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Öztürk Tuner really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 8th match minute, Kapalicarsi FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baskın Sunguralp to maneuver through the defense. Berkem Akçakıl's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Berkan Şehzat firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mehmet Efe Temizöz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İsmail Batırhan having to interfere. Edremit's Berkan Şehzat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Öztürk Tuner in the 16th minute of play. Yiğitcan Utkan hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. İsmail Batırhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Efe Temizöz, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 32 minutes, Mehmet Efe Temizöz made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Kapalicarsi FK's İsmail Batırhan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehmet Efe Temizöz in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg İsmail Batırhan saved Kapalicarsi FK from getting behind. In the 36th match minute, Edremit was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yağız Ateşoğlu to maneuver through the defense. Hüsnü Aytekin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Berkan Şehzat. Edremit's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Mehmet Efe Temizöz notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Kapalicarsi FK's İsmail Batırhan. İsmail Batırhan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Kapalicarsi FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Edremit were winning 1-2.

In the 55th minute Mehmet Efe Temizöz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İsmail Batırhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edremit's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehmet Efe Temizöz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee ignored Edremit's protests and gave Yiğitcan Utkan a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Edremit's Yiğitcan Utkan got a free kick in the 89th minute. Çakır Oğuzkan kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehmet Efe Temizöz in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg İsmail Batırhan saved Kapalicarsi FK from getting behind. Edremit's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
