In the 47th minute of the match Ali Cafer Ökten sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Berkan Şehzat skillfully saved the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute, one of Glasgow Gs:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Glasgow Gs. 61 minutes into the game, İlyas Tolga Fırat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Glasgow Gs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Edremit the free kick. The supporters of Edremit booed when Glasgow Gs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. İlyas Tolga Fırat didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by İlyas Tolga Fırat in the 70th minute of play forced Edremit's goalkeeper Berkan Şehzat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Berkan Şehzat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İlyas Tolga Fırat, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Berkan Şehzat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Işık Sebati in the 86th minute of play. Halil Secavend didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mehmet Efe Temizöz went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Mehmet Efe Temizöz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Halil Secavend when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Many of Edremit's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Edremit may have spent more time on the ball, but Glasgow Gs were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
