The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Kursunlu's İnanç Baltacı got a free kick in the 8th minute. ERDEM F.C.'s Işık Beyzade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adnan Hedef in the 10th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Adnan Hedef got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmet Nafiz Oruk struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Sait Tümerdem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ERDEM F.C.. In the 18th minute, Gündüz Tüzel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ERDEM F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 22 minutes in the game, Ahmet Nafiz Oruk dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Nafiz Oruk in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sait Tümerdem prevented the ball from getting in the gole. But to his dismay, Ahmet Nafiz Oruk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. ERDEM F.C.'s Gündüz Tüzel got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Lefter Dağhan fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kursunlu's protests and gave Lefter Dağhan a yellow card for diving instead. Lefter Dağhan kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Gündüz Tüzel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Sait Tümerdem was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Sait Tümerdem was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gürhan Çakır. Işık Beyzade stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adnan Hedef's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Kursunlu getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Kenan Kartay hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, Kursunlu's goal looked a bit too open when Gündüz Tüzel came free, but Sait Tümerdem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ERDEM F.C.'s Işık Beyzade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Emrah Zeyni in the 64th minute of play. Sait Tümerdem made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Ahmet Nafiz Oruk sent off a good shot on target. Gündüz Tüzel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sait Tümerdem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gündüz Tüzel in the 71st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Nafiz Oruk got free with Sait Tümerdem in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Işık Beyzade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adnan Hedef in the 77th minute of the match. Sait Tümerdem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gündüz Tüzel, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Kursunlu's goalkeeper Sait Tümerdem had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Nafiz Oruk. In the 82nd minute, Ahmet Nafiz Oruk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sait Tümerdem was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The Kursunlu supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ERDEM F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for ERDEM F.C..
