The EFSANE KARŞI 36 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erol Yunus should have stopped the shot. After 24 played minutes EFSANE KARŞI 36 got a freekick which was hit by Vecdet Tolunbay. Muharrem Eronat charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Muharrem Eronat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th match minute, EFSANE KARŞI 36 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Muharrem Eronat to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 36 minutes, Vecdet Tolunbay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EFSANE KARŞI 36's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vecdet Tolunbay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Şentürk Erenoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Erol Yunus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

If Şentürk Erenoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 63rd minute Kudret Hafi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erol Yunus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erol Yunus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Şentürk Erenoz in the 65th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Erol Yunus successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Karagümrük FK's Kudret Hafi got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Kudret Hafi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Şentürk Erenoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
