Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) melis's Gürol Savtuna started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Niyazi Sezgin struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Zülfikar Alkın didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DerinYar. After a defensive mix-up in DerinYar's zone, Gürol Savtuna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Batur Yafes came out of the goal and Gürol Savtuna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ergincan Akçabay kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Niyazi Sezgin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, melis's Zülfikar Alkın got control of the ball when Niyazi Sezgin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gürol Savtuna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Muhittin Ülken fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored melis's protests and gave Muhittin Ülken a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of DerinYar booed when melis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Muhittin Ülken didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Niyazi Sezgin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 32nd minute of the match Muhittin Ülken completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Muhittin Ülken a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 32 played minutes melis got a freekick which was hit by Muhittin Ülken. Niyazi Sezgin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Zülfikar Alkın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 38 minutes, Niyazi Sezgin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DerinYar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niyazi Sezgin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, melis's goal looked a bit too open when Edip Niğdeli came free, but Zülfikar Alkın reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paşa Ali Sarısaltuk during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Paşa Ali Sarısaltuk kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Zülfikar Alkın was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Aykan Nuratay. DerinYar's Gökay Kuter shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 47th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Zülfikar Alkın but with some difficulty. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niyazi Sezgin to strike the kick off in the second half. When DerinYar's Niyazi Sezgin in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye melis's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in DerinYar's zone, Onuralp Işıldar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Batur Yafes came out of the goal and Onuralp Işıldar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Niyazi Sezgin struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Zülfikar Alkın didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DerinYar. Niyazi Sezgin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zülfikar Alkın having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Edip Faydalı made a precise shot to the right of Zülfikar Alkın. melis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 68th minute of the match Aykan Nuratay shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zülfikar Alkın showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Yavuz Bülent İpekdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niyazi Sezgin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Zülfikar Alkın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, melis's goal looked a bit too open when Niyazi Sezgin came free, but Zülfikar Alkın reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Niyazi Sezgin managed to get in a good position for a shot. DerinYar's supporters rose to their feet, but Niyazi Sezgin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zülfikar Alkın breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 92 played minutes, DerinYar's Aykan Nuratay shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zülfikar Alkın came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in DerinYar reached it. 95 minutes into the match, DerinYar's Suavi Sayfi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zülfikar Alkın narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zülfikar Alkın showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edip Niğdeli in the 97th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the DerinYar players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
