Fahrettin Yarkın hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Büyükada's goalkeeper Cevher Hamurcuoğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Korcan Terim. 16 minutes into the match, Korcan Terim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cevher Hamurcuoğlu. Büyükada's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Korcan Terim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Hakkı Devrim Onursan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karadeniz Kayral in the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Karadeniz Kayral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Büyükada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Ercan Tokel kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Burak Soyurgal was the one to do the kick off. Fenerbahçe SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Büyükada the free kick. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fenerbahçe SK! When Samim Başarman fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Büyükada's protests and gave Samim Başarman a yellow card for diving instead. Samim Başarman kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Yücel Ergintuğ got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 70 minutes, Korcan Terim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fenerbahçe SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Korcan Terim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karadeniz Kayral got free with Hakkı Devrim Onursan in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Karadeniz Kayral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Fenerbahçe SK manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Büyükada to win.
