Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Özer Demirer started the match with the kick off. Reha Taran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yusuf Bahadır Arabacıoğlu in the 4th minute of play. İslam Yersel hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şeref Açıker in the 8th minute of play forced Konya's goalkeeper Peyami Serter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Şeref Açıker left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MehmetHan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After having played for 14 minutes, Şeref Açıker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MehmetHan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şeref Açıker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, MehmetHan's goal looked a bit too open when Yusuf Bahadır Arabacıoğlu came free, but Reha Taran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Konya's goalkeeper Peyami Serter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rıfat İley. In the 31st minute, Konya's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Şeref Açıker fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rıfat İley got free with Peyami Serter in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rıfat İley who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Peyami Serter when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 38 minutes into the match, Konya's goal looked a bit too open when Şeref Açıker came free, but Peyami Serter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Konya's Teoman Mahşer got a free kick in the 39th minute. Peyami Serter was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Semail Cesman. Yusuf Bahadır Arabacıoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Şeref Açıker made a kick off. When Şeref Açıker came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the MehmetHan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Şeref Açıker couldn't finish the play. 53 minutes into the game, Şeref Açıker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Peyami Serter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 56th minute, Semail Cesman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Özer Demirer in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reha Taran saved MehmetHan from getting behind. Mustafa Emrah Kamil kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. If Yusuf Bahadır Arabacıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MehmetHan's Reha Taran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save MehmetHan from getting a goal against them. Peyami Serter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şeref Açıker, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Yusuf Bahadır Arabacıoğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reha Taran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Özer Demirer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Reha Taran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Yusuf Bahadır Arabacıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yusuf Bahadır Arabacıoğlu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Reha Taran skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Konya's Teoman Mahşer slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Reha Taran. That made the score 2-1 after 73 minutes of play. 76 minutes into the match, MehmetHan's goal looked a bit too open when Özer Demirer came free, but Reha Taran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Konya's Yusuf Bahadır Arabacıoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yusuf Bahadır Arabacıoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Reha Taran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Konya's goal looked a bit too open when Şeref Açıker came free, but Peyami Serter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Şeref Açıker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Konya getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Rahim Şahistan hit a great ball. Şeref Açıker struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Peyami Serter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MehmetHan. When Konya's Özer Demirer in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MehmetHan's goalie prevented a goal. The MehmetHan support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
