Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The Konya fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Konya's Yusuf Bahadır Arabacıoğlu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Arkın Ünveren scored 1-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peyami Serter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Konya getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Yusuf Bahadır Arabacıoğlu hit a great ball. Peyami Serter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arkın Ünveren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Tarsus JK booed when Konya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emirhan Özdoğal didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Yusuf Bahadır Arabacıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Özer Demirer did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Sait Birsen 30 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Konya's Yusuf Bahadır Arabacıoğlu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sait Birsen. Sait Birsen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Özer Demirer in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sait Birsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yusuf Bahadır Arabacıoğlu hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. If Yusuf Bahadır Arabacıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. İlhami Nasreddin charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed İlhami Nasreddin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th minute, İlhami Nasreddin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Konya's Hüseyin Turan Tangun shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 46th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Sait Birsen but with some difficulty. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Arkın Ünveren made the kick off in the second half. If Teoman Mahşer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yusuf Bahadır Arabacıoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute Özer Demirer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sait Birsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tarsus JK's Abayhan Tahsin got a free kick in the 59th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Tarsus JK's zone, Yusuf Bahadır Arabacıoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sait Birsen came out of the goal and Yusuf Bahadır Arabacıoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Tarsus JK getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Arkın Şensoy hit a great ball. When Zekeriya Salcan came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Tarsus JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zekeriya Salcan couldn't finish the play. If Yusuf Bahadır Arabacıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Özer Demirer made a precise shot to the right of Sait Birsen. Tarsus JK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özer Demirer in the 94th minute of play forced Tarsus JK's goalkeeper Sait Birsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tarsus JK's Sait Birsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yusuf Bahadır Arabacıoğlu in the 95th minute of play. Konya's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
