Tümer Uludoğan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fevzi Tokur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute, Hasan Tahsin Arınç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kemaliye's Hasan Tahsin Arınç got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bircan Hafi struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. İbrahim Ethem Eğriöz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vakifspor. After having played for 30 minutes, Bircan Hafi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vakifspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bircan Hafi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute, Kürşat Aktaç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hasan Tahsin Arınç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tümer Uludoğan having to interfere. Tunç Ulus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hasan Tahsin Arınç got free with Tümer Uludoğan in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Hasan Tahsin Arınç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Tunç Ulus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tümer Uludoğan. The goal made the score 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
In the 55th minute, Hasan Tahsin Arınç got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Avni Şahinoğlu hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute Bircan Hafi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İbrahim Ethem Eğriöz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Kemaliye's Devlet İlhan got a free kick in the 69th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Vakifspor's Güray Akyıldız tried to score from far away in the 70th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Fevzi Tokur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. İbrahim Ethem Eğriöz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bircan Hafi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tümer Uludoğan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tunç Ulus in the 80th minute of play. Vakifspor's Tümer Uludoğan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tunç Ulus in the 85th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Vakifspor's zone, Hasan Tahsin Arınç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tümer Uludoğan came out of the goal and Hasan Tahsin Arınç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tunç Ulus in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tümer Uludoğan saved Vakifspor from getting behind. Vakifspor's Tümer Uludoğan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tunç Ulus in the 94th minute of play. If Tunç Ulus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kemaliye's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
