After 13 played minutes Nuralp Saadettin rounded Ardahan JK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. The Ardahan JK fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Ardahan JK's Göksel Sabir looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Göksel Sabir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bedrettin Sebuktekin having to interfere. Göksel Sabir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mansur Barkın kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Nuralp Saadettin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Müslüm Zabit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ardahan JK getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Mansur Barkın hit a great ball. In the 35th match minute, Ardahan JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göksel Sabir to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Ardahan JK's zone, Umur Gökkuşağı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Müslüm Zabit came out of the goal and Umur Gökkuşağı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Umur Gökkuşağı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 42 minutes, Nuralp Saadettin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gelibolu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuralp Saadettin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Nuralp Saadettin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gelibolu's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuralp Saadettin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Müslüm Zabit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th minute, Mansur Barkın hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Ardahan JK's zone, Umur Gökkuşağı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Müslüm Zabit came out of the goal and Umur Gökkuşağı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 49th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ardahan JK's goalkeeper Müslüm Zabit, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
Nuralp Saadettin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Ardahan JK's goal looked a bit too open when Umur Gökkuşağı came free, but Müslüm Zabit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Ertuğrul Akasma was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ardahan JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gelibolu the free kick. Erdi Kuddusi's late challenge caught a Gelibolu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erdi Kuddusi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Gelibolu booed when Ardahan JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erdi Kuddusi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 73 played minutes Ardahan JK got a freekick which was hit by Erdi Kuddusi. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nuralp Saadettin in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Müslüm Zabit saved Ardahan JK from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 80th minute by Göksel Sabir got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bedrettin Sebuktekin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Ediz Oytunç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gelibolu's Nuralp Saadettin got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Ardahan JK booed when Gelibolu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mansur Özerdinc didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ardahan JK's zone, Nuralp Saadettin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Müslüm Zabit came out of the goal and Nuralp Saadettin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 97th minute, Ardahan JK's Mehmet Ediz Oytunç ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bedrettin Sebuktekin. Bedrettin Sebuktekin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ardahan JK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
