Necmettin Şahvar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Ediz Oytunç, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Yaşar Mengücek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Davut Onuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mehmet Ediz Oytunç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mehmet Ediz Oytunç stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Göksel Sabir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Necmettin Şahvar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Mehmet Ediz Oytunç managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ardahan JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehmet Ediz Oytunç was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Necmettin Şahvar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ertuğrul Akasma took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Necmettin Şahvar. tokatspor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 57th minute, Göksel Sabir made a precise shot to the right of Necmettin Şahvar. tokatspor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. If Mehmet Ediz Oytunç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Davut Onuk's late challenge caught a Ardahan JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Davut Onuk helped the player get up and apologised. Davut Onuk hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Kuddusî Budaklı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Ardahan JK's goalkeeper Müslüm Zabit had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yaşar Mengücek. Necmettin Şahvar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Ediz Oytunç in the 87th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the tokatspor players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ardahan JK.
