If Yalçın Yasun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tim Arvidsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Boran Şükür tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sahinbey's Ertaç Erten got a free kick in the 6th minute. If Yalçın Yasun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when İsmail Sabir got free with İhsan Akbaş in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Erdem Özgener came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Sahinbey fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erdem Özgener couldn't finish the play. Tim Arvidsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boran Şükür stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yüce Öztürk's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 39th minute, Tim Arvidsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yalçın Yasun in the 41st minute of play forced Sahinbey's goalkeeper Boran Şükür to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th match minute, MBE Spor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erol Eraslan to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the game, Tim Arvidsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Boran Şükür. Tim Arvidsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. MBE Spor's Tim Arvidsson got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yüce Öztürk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tim Arvidsson got free with Boran Şükür in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 79 minutes into the match, MBE Spor's goal looked a bit too open when İsmail Sabir came free, but İhsan Akbaş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Boran Şükür managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when MBE Spor's Tim Arvidsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Yalçın Yasun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Sahinbey getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Ertaç Erten hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erdem Özgener in the 94th minute of play forced MBE Spor's goalkeeper İhsan Akbaş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Sahinbey fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Sahinbey's Erdem Özgener looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
