After 7 played minutes Sahinbey got a freekick which was hit by Acun Baykır. Yiğit Sufi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Sahinbey's Boran Şükür got control of the ball when Yiğit Sufi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yiğit Sufi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boran Şükür having to interfere. The supporters of KDRGNDZTP SK booed when Sahinbey was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ertaç Erten didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cumali Şaki in the 23rd minute of play forced Sahinbey's goalkeeper Boran Şükür to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 minutes, Cumali Şaki made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sahinbey's Boran Şükür tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Erdem Özgener took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Uygur Bozbey. Uygur Bozbey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. İsmail Sabir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When İsmail Sabir came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Sahinbey fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İsmail Sabir couldn't finish the play. Erdem Özgener's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Uygur Bozbey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. When Sahinbey's Erdem Özgener in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KDRGNDZTP SK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 48th minute, Necmi Osman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and İsmail Sabir made a kick off. In the 57th minute of the match Kutlu Bucuk sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Boran Şükür skillfully saved the ball. When Arif Nihat Karun came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the KDRGNDZTP SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arif Nihat Karun couldn't finish the play. Fadıl Türcan hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, KDRGNDZTP SK's Ali Erdem Karasu tried to score from far away in the 63rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Sahinbey's Ertaç Erten got a free kick in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by İsmail Sabir in the 68th minute of play forced KDRGNDZTP SK's goalkeeper Uygur Bozbey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cumali Şaki's late challenge caught a Sahinbey's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cumali Şaki helped the player get up and apologised. After 74 played minutes KDRGNDZTP SK got a freekick which was hit by Cumali Şaki. When İsmail Sabir, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 83 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Uygur Bozbey was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Erdem Özgener had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 86 played minutes İsmail Sabir rounded KDRGNDZTP SK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Erdem Özgener sped through KDRGNDZTP SK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Uygur Bozbey. After 98 minutes, Fırat Kayraalp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KDRGNDZTP SK and the Sahinbey players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, KDRGNDZTP SK's Fırat Kayraalp got a free kick in the 98th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erdem Özgener got free with Uygur Bozbey in the 100th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Sahinbey players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
