Bilge Tanacan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdullatif Torgay, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Kevin Dahlquist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bilge Tanacan having to make a save. Yunus Tanay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abidin Başdoğan, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Battal Kunt dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Yunus Tanay, 1-2. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abidin Başdoğan was the one to do the kick off. Bilge Tanacan was left in no man's land by his defense there! 62 minutes into the match, Liverpool FC's goalkeeper Bilge Tanacan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by İsmail Hakkı Bucak. Battal Kunt's late challenge caught a Gömec JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 89th minute, Kılıçhan Durul got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yunus Tanay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abidin Başdoğan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kılıçhan Durul kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Yunus Tanay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sungur Pekgöz in the 97th minute of play. Gömec JK played a much better game than Liverpool FC and deserved their victory. The Liverpool FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
