After 32 played minutes KONYA42 got a freekick which was hit by Sungurbey Kayansel. Rıfat Tezalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Mazhar Tekrim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bektaş Veli Koray was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Yavuz Bayraktaroğlu. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of Beşiktaş booed when KONYA42 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. İsa Sarıcabay didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 99 minutes KONYA42's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Özbek Çakıroğlu who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Baykal Mithat heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Beşiktaş were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing KONYA42 to leave the ground with a draw.
