Ertaç Cevar took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mehmet Anıl Yiğitkan. Mehmet Anıl Yiğitkan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 11 played minutes kayseri got a freekick which was hit by Hadi Orgun. If Ertaç Cevar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kocaali's Soner Tunçkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ünal Kahya in the 18th minute of play. Mehmet Anıl Yiğitkan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şemsettin Taşan, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Soner Tunçkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ünal Kahya in the 23rd minute of play. When Ünal Kahya, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 30 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Soner Tunçkan was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Andaç Sami recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ünal Kahya in the 38th minute of play forced Kocaali's goalkeeper Soner Tunçkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind kayseri's goalkeeper Mehmet Anıl Yiğitkan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ertaç Cevar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Andaç Sami got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Kocaali's zone, Andaç Sami stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Soner Tunçkan came out of the goal and Andaç Sami tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Soner Tunçkan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ünal Kahya, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After 82 minutes of play, kayseri's Andaç Sami made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Soner Tunçkan was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Kocaali's Davut Humbaracıbaşı got a free kick in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Ünal Kahya was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. kayseri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kocaali the free kick. In the 88th match minute, kayseri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ünal Kahya to maneuver through the defense.
