Rene Joey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Yaman Işıker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Asım Bektaş was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 13 minutes had been played. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Oğuz Bekir couldn't finish the play. The SİVASSPOR fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when SİVASSPOR's Garip Şirzat looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. SİVASSPOR's Ingemar Arenius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harun Andaç in the 36th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Rene Joey dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Yaman Işıker, 3-0. In the 44th minute of the match, Rene Joey tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Yaman Işıker saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Batu Tuncalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Olgun Kazanhan fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eldivan JK's protests and gave Olgun Kazanhan a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Eldivan JK getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Olgun Kazanhan hit a great ball. Yaman Işıker acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 49th minute, took the ball on the long shot from İstemihan Karginalp. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Rene Joey made the kick off in the second half. Garip Şirzat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Yaman Işıker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Oğuz Bekir got free with Ingemar Arenius in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eldivan JK's Ahmet Oğuz Bekir got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ahmet Oğuz Bekir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Rıdvan Dilmen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Eldivan JK's goalkeeper Yaman Işıker, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rene Joey scored 4-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yaman Işıker, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Batu Tuncalp managed to get in a good position for a shot. SİVASSPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Batu Tuncalp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yaman Işıker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rıdvan Dilmen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yaman Işıker having to interfere. Olgun Kazanhan was shown his second yellow card after 89 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Yaman Işıker came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by SİVASSPOR's Rene Joey. But to his dismay, Rene Joey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0.
