Akgün Ulusoy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Batu Cem Bayer fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FENERBAHÇE69's protests and gave Batu Cem Bayer a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the FENERBAHÇE69 defense, Celal Yalavaç kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Şemsettin Kıvanç. The FENERBAHÇE69 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Şemsettin Kıvanç should have stopped the shot. Kamuran Kavi charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kamuran Kavi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 46 played minutes FENERBAHÇE69 got a freekick which was hit by Kamuran Kavi. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Azmi Yağınalp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tibet Akersoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Celal Yalavaç got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ertuğrul Şükür had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ertuğrul Şükür recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ertuğrul Şükür fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Balamir Özsevi having to interfere. In the 71st minute Azmi Yağınalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Balamir Özsevi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yeni Çeri A.Ş.'s Balamir Özsevi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Azmi Yağınalp in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Fehmi Özok was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FENERBAHÇE69's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yeni Çeri A.Ş. the free kick. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Balamir Özsevi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erbatur Songün kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
