Atabey Budak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İrfan Urhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. GalataSaray FK's Atabey Budak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İrfan Urhan in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, GalataSaray FK's goalkeeper Atabey Budak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arif Bilge Tuğsav. In the 8th match minute, GalataSaray FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Muzaffer Oner to maneuver through the defense. Arif Bilge Tuğsav recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arif Bilge Tuğsav got free with Atabey Budak in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Atabey Budak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Berkant Yener's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Arif Bilge Tuğsav could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Atabey Budak made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Atabey Budak successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ali Galip Ayaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olgun Talik, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. A collision led to GalataSaray FK getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Olgun Talik hit a great ball. GalataSaray FK's Atabey Budak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İrfan Urhan in the 33rd minute of play. In the 40th match minute, GalataSaray FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Cafer Çaykara to maneuver through the defense. GalataSaray FK's Atabey Budak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İrfan Urhan in the 43rd minute of play. Hürkan Tufan hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Arif Bilge Tuğsav made the kick off in the second half. Atabey Budak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berkant Yener in the 52nd minute of the match. Atabey Budak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İrfan Urhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute, Olgun Talik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GalataSaray FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With his leg Ali Galip Ayaz managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when GalataSaray FK's Olgun Talik fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 69th match minute, GalataSaray FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Bilge Korcan to maneuver through the defense. GalataSaray FK's Atabey Budak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İrfan Urhan in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Bilge Tuğsav in the 76th minute of play forced GalataSaray FK's goalkeeper Atabey Budak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GalataSaray FK's Atabey Budak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Bilge Tuğsav in the 79th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, İrfan Urhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nisantasi's supporters rose to their feet, but İrfan Urhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atabey Budak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, GalataSaray FK's Ali Galip Ayaz threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mehmet Bilge Korcan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 90 minutes into the match, Olgun Talik notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Nisantasi's Ali Galip Ayaz. Ali Galip Ayaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
