Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Karliova's Coşkun Gümüşcü started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute of the match Erdem Mikail shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cevat Kerimhan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Asım Ökten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Cevat Kerimhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 8 minutes, Asım Ökten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Burgazada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Asım Ökten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Asım Ökten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Şansal Pertev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cevat Kerimhan having to interfere. Asım Ökten took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cevat Kerimhan. Cevat Kerimhan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With his leg Arda Baybars İrfanoğlu managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Karliova's Haydar Akduman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 20th minute, Özmen Bostancı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bilgehan Hacılar kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Şansal Pertev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cevat Kerimhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Asım Ökten in the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st match minute, Karliova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bilgehan Hacılar to maneuver through the defense. Cevat Kerimhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şansal Pertev in the 42nd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Coşkun Gümüşcü dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arda Baybars İrfanoğlu, 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Şansal Pertev was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Karliova's zone, Şansal Pertev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cevat Kerimhan came out of the goal and Şansal Pertev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Coşkun Gümüşcü in the 55th minute of play forced Burgazada's goalkeeper Arda Baybars İrfanoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Özmen Bostancı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arda Baybars İrfanoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haydar Akduman, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Özmen Bostancı hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. When Asım Ökten came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Burgazada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Asım Ökten couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Burgazada getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Bican Özkul hit a great ball. In the 75th minute of the match Temel Güneş sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arda Baybars İrfanoğlu skillfully saved the ball. Asım Ökten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cevat Kerimhan having to interfere. Özmen Bostancı got his second yellow card in the match during the 80th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Burgazada booed when Karliova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Özmen Bostancı didn't get a good kick on the ball. Taha Sevimli, 82 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 88th play minutes Asım Ökten shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Cevat Kerimhan and just under the crossbar into goal. Haydar Akduman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Burgazada players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Karliova from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
