Mustafa Ali Topçam charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After having played for 20 minutes, Devlet Erencan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Devlet Erencan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Sedat Yoruç didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Naci Çiltay went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Devlet Erencan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Sedat Yoruç having to interfere. Devlet Erencan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ahmet Sedat Yoruç read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Ahmet Sedat Yoruç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Devlet Erencan in the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute Devlet Erencan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Sedat Yoruç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Naci Çiltay made a precise shot to the right of Ahmet Sedat Yoruç. Kula's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Devlet Erencan made the kick off in the second half. SHATOV RIP's Batu Bürgehan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdulkerim Taciroğlu in the 54th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Kula's zone, Devlet Erencan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Sedat Yoruç came out of the goal and Devlet Erencan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 59 minutes into the match, SHATOV RIP's Naci Çiltay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmet Sedat Yoruç narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Kula defense, Naci Çiltay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmet Sedat Yoruç. The Kula fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Sedat Yoruç should have stopped the shot. Batu Bürgehan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Orhan Yalçıner in the 64th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, SHATOV RIP's goal looked a bit too open when Abdulkerim Taciroğlu came free, but Batu Bürgehan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Devlet Erencan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Kula's Ahmet Sedat Yoruç got control of the ball when Naci Çiltay tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Abdulkerim Taciroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ahmet Nasir Kırca fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
