A collision led to Göksun getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Güray Berkkan hit a great ball. After 5 minutes of play, Göksun's Ahmet Haşim Keskiner made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tarık Sayhan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tarık Sayhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efe Köker in the 14th minute of the match. When Göksun's Efe Köker in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kocaali SK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 18th minute Efe Köker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tarık Sayhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Göksun Refettin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mehmet Ali Özdel's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bora Han Karan during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tarık Sayhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Haşim Keskiner in the 34th minute of play. The supporters of Göksun booed when Kocaali SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bora Han Karan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute Ahmet Haşim Keskiner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tarık Sayhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 40 played minutes Kocaali SK got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Ali Özdel. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ali Baran Münir made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efe Köker in the 52nd minute of play forced Kocaali SK's goalkeeper Tarık Sayhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kocaali SK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! Kılıçalp Eryavuz shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 56th match minute, Kocaali SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vedat Orcun to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the game, Ragıp Işınsu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Kocaali SK's Vedat Orcun quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Ahmet İlke Avcıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tarık Sayhan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Haşim Keskiner in the 66th minute. After a rather tough play, Kocaali SK's Mehmet Ali Özdel got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, Ahmet Haşim Keskiner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Göksun fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Göksun's zone, Yaser Akgöze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Göksun Refettin came out of the goal and Yaser Akgöze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ragıp Işınsu hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. The supporters of Göksun booed when Kocaali SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vedat Orcun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tarık Sayhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efe Köker in the 90th minute of play. Kılıçalp Eryavuz shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Göksun were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Kocaali SK's much stronger midfield.
