If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Przemyslaw Winnicki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute Lars Meesters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Przemyslaw Winnicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Witalis Czysty could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save.

If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the match, Skrwa Sikórz's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Przemyslaw Winnicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edward Walczyk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Przemyslaw Winnicki in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th minute, Lars Meesters reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Przemyslaw Winnicki. The goal made the score 2-1. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witalis Czysty, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Wim Wilmes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Przemyslaw Winnicki made a huge save. Gijsbert ter Kruimer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Przemyslaw Winnicki having to make a save. 81 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Przemyslaw Winnicki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sufi Kutsan in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. A nice corner shot did that Gijsbert ter Kruimer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Przemyslaw Winnicki quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Wim Wilmes might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Przemyslaw Winnicki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wim Wilmes ran back to his position shaking his head. Netherlands's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Skrwa Sikórz had won, even though Netherlands had held more of the ball.
