In the 4th minute, Yalçın Erakıncı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. İnanç Soner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kubilay Onat having to interfere. In the 12th minute Yalçın Erakıncı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karadeniz Safer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13thth minute of the game Yalçın Erakıncı who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BAKTEMUR SK's Karadeniz Safer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bilkent's Yalçın Erakıncı got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fikri Akar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karadeniz Safer having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Fikri Akar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karadeniz Safer. BAKTEMUR SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fikri Akar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Songur Ekin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fikri Akar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karadeniz Safer having to interfere. In the 40th minute, BAKTEMUR SK's İnanç Soner dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. BAKTEMUR SK's Karadeniz Safer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fikri Akar in the 46th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Fikri Akar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karadeniz Safer. BAKTEMUR SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fikri Akar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The BAKTEMUR SK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bilkent were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fikri Akar made a kick off. Karadeniz Safer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fikri Akar in the 55th minute of the match. Yalçın Erakıncı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 played minutes BAKTEMUR SK got a freekick which was hit by Songur Ekin. Yalçın Erakıncı could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Karadeniz Safer made a huge save. Songur Ekin hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Yalçın Erakıncı in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Karadeniz Safer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Yalçın Erakıncı who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Karadeniz Safer when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Karadeniz Safer came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Bilkent's Yalçın Erakıncı. But to his dismay, Yalçın Erakıncı quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Yalçın Erakıncı in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Karadeniz Safer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 82 played minutes Bilkent got a freekick which was hit by Yalçın Erakıncı. In the 84th match minute, BAKTEMUR SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kemal Korhan to maneuver through the defense. Eralp Akova could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Karadeniz Safer made a huge save. In the 89th minute Fikri Akar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karadeniz Safer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bilkent walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
