After a defensive mix-up in BJK 77's zone, Tuğrul Semdin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergen Vural came out of the goal and Tuğrul Semdin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 6th minute Tuğrul Semdin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergen Vural saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute, Ali Vedat Malkoç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 10 minutes, Dinç Karaoğlan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BJK 77 and the Doganyol players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dinç Karaoğlan hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Batur Hürol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Namık Kemal Talaz in the 20th minute of the match. After having played for 24 minutes, Ceyhan Neşet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BJK 77's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ceyhan Neşet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in BJK 77 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! Sergen Vural went to the wrong direction when Nuh Özduru was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The audience was convinced that Nurettin Mahşer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sergen Vural was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. If İlbey Hazarbeyoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Ali Haydar İmroz thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Sergen Vural, a very annoying self made goal in the 54th minute which led to 1-0. Tuğrul Semdin struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Sergen Vural didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Doganyol. 64 minutes into the match, Doganyol's İlbey Hazarbeyoğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sergen Vural narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, İlbey Hazarbeyoğlu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Doganyol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 78th minute, BJK 77's Namık Kemal Talaz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Batur Hürol. Batur Hürol yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. After a rather tough play, BJK 77's Şaban Değer got a free kick in the 87th minute. The audience was convinced that İlbey Hazarbeyoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sergen Vural was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. The supporters of Doganyol booed when BJK 77 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceyhan Neşet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Doganyol were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of BJK 77 for a fine match.
