Sarigöl JK's Güntekin Başesgioğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tuğrul Semdin in the 9th minute of play. Batur Hürol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berkin Ongunalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. İlbey Hazarbeyoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when İlbey Hazarbeyoğlu got free with Güntekin Başesgioğlu in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Berkin Ongunalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nurettin Mahşer's late challenge caught a Sarigöl JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nurettin Mahşer helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sarigöl JK booed when Doganyol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nurettin Mahşer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute of the match Yiğitcan Ayaydın sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Batur Hürol skillfully saved the ball. If Tuğrul Semdin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute Bünyamin Suat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batur Hürol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doganyol's Batur Hürol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bünyamin Suat in the 43rd minute of play. A collision led to Sarigöl JK getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Yiğitcan Ayaydın hit a great ball. Kubat Olcaytu was shown his second yellow card after 46 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 47 played minutes Doganyol got a freekick which was hit by Kubat Olcaytu. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The supporters of Doganyol booed when Sarigöl JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Coşkun Cangiray didn't get a good kick on the ball. Doganyol's Batur Hürol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berkin Ongunalp in the 61st minute of play. Güntekin Başesgioğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İlbey Hazarbeyoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Batur Hürol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berkin Ongunalp in the 76th minute of play. If İlbey Hazarbeyoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 played minutes Doganyol got a freekick which was hit by Tuğrul Semdin. İlbey Hazarbeyoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 95th minute by Bünyamin Suat got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
