Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gürkan Tardu started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Elazığ SK's zone, Sacit Temizhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Altay Özcam came out of the goal and Sacit Temizhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oğuzalp Ihlamur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gürkan Tardu in the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Sacit Temizhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Sacit Temizhan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Altay Özcam. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. Sacit Temizhan might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Altay Özcam. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sacit Temizhan ran back to his position shaking his head. Altay Özcam made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Sacit Temizhan sent off a good shot on target. Altay Özcam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulu Canfer, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. When Sacit Temizhan came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the ZonguldakSpor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sacit Temizhan couldn't finish the play. Ulu Canfer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Altay Özcam having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Elazığ SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ulu Canfer came free, but Altay Özcam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gürkan Tardu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ulu Canfer came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the ZonguldakSpor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulu Canfer couldn't finish the play. Altan Yurtsever fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Altay Özcam having to interfere. Ulu Canfer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sacit Temizhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Altay Özcam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sacit Temizhan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of ZonguldakSpor booed when Elazığ SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Atıf Ruşen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Sacit Temizhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. ZonguldakSpor's supporters rose to their feet, but Sacit Temizhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Altay Özcam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ulu Canfer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sacit Temizhan in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Altay Özcam saved Elazığ SK from getting behind. 67 minutes into the match, Elazığ SK's goal looked a bit too open when Sacit Temizhan came free, but Altay Özcam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alperen Pektaşi might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oğuzalp Ihlamur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alperen Pektaşi ran back to his position shaking his head. 75 minutes into the match, Sacit Temizhan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Altay Özcam. Elazığ SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sacit Temizhan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Ulu Canfer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Altay Özcam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Altay Özcam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Altan Yurtsever in the 85th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Elazığ SK's Gürkan Tardu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Oğuzalp Ihlamur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gürkan Tardu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gürhan Aşık kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Zekeriya Kantara hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
