An unexpectedly hard shot by Ensar Uluğ in the 11th minute of play forced Göztepe's goalkeeper Asrın Budaklı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Keciören's Duman Özker got a free kick in the 14th minute. Asrın Budaklı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ensar Uluğ in the 19th minute of the match. Ensar Uluğ made a great header on Keciören's corner, it was just that Göztepe's Asrın Budaklı managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yüce Öztanır in the 22nd minute of play forced Keciören's goalkeeper Kamber Uçbay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Mehmet Tokyüz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kamber Uçbay. Gürkan Özdamar helped the player get up and apologised. Yüce Öztanır's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kamber Uçbay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Keciören's Kamber Uçbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Derya Tur in the 38th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Göztepe's zone, Ensar Uluğ stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Asrın Budaklı came out of the goal and Ensar Uluğ tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ensar Uluğ stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Keciören's Kamber Uçbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Tokyüz in the 52nd minute of play. Göztepe's Asrın Budaklı proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Göztepe from getting a goal against them. Keciören's Kamber Uçbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yüce Öztanır in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Akil Uzay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a long run with the ball, Ensar Uluğ did a trick in the 72nd minute in front of Göztepe's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 2-2. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gürkan Özdamar was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Göztepe! Asrın Budaklı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ensar Uluğ, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Kamber Uçbay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yüce Öztanır in the 99th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Keciören eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
