After having played for 4 minutes, Barış Özsahin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esenler's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barış Özsahin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Esenler booed when Beyazit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Recep Tayyip Torel didn't get a good kick on the ball. If İstemihan Kiner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Göktan Temizsan made the kick off in the second half. When Recep Tayyip Torel fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beyazit's protests and gave Recep Tayyip Torel a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Beyazit's Recep Tayyip Torel got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Beyazit's Ahmet Seyfi Murat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Beyazit from getting a goal against them. In the 85th minute Remzi Öksak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Seyfi Murat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th match minute, Beyazit was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Bilge Sarpkan to maneuver through the defense. Barış Özsahin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Seyfi Murat having to interfere. When Abdulhamit Özsan came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Beyazit fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdulhamit Özsan couldn't finish the play. Ahmet Seyfi Murat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Barış Özsahin in the 97th minute.
