The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rahmi Altınpınar helped the player get up and apologised. Bican Samet scored 2-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Feyzullay Şahinter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Başakşehir defense, Semi Hidayet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Feyzullay Şahinter. The Başakşehir fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Feyzullay Şahinter should have stopped the shot. In the 29th minute, Semi Hidayet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Feyzullay Şahinter was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Önder Sayman in the 32nd minute of play forced Başakşehir's goalkeeper Feyzullay Şahinter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute of the game Erivaldo Penha made a throw-in which Bilgehan Özkutal played forward. Feyzullay Şahinter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Önder Sayman, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. With a little luck, Başakşehir's Feyzullay Şahinter got control of the ball when Semi Hidayet tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emil Medrea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Enver Tankut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Başakşehir's Feyzullay Şahinter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bican Samet in the 52nd minute of play. In the 58th minute of the game Erivaldo Penha made a throw-in which Bilgehan Özkutal played forward. Bahattin Kutbay kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Feyzullay Şahinter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bican Samet, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After having played for 66 minutes, Şeray Yurtsever managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Başakşehir's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şeray Yurtsever was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enver Tankut made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emil Medrea in the 69th minute. If Merih Canatan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Feyzullay Şahinter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Semi Hidayet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rahmi Altınpınar kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Feyzullay Şahinter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bican Samet in the 81st minute of play. Başakşehir's Feyzullay Şahinter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Semi Hidayet in the 83rd minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Akköy SK's Bican Samet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Feyzullay Şahinter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After 87 played minutes, Akköy SK's Bahattin Kutbay shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Feyzullay Şahinter came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Akköy SK reached it. Feyzullay Şahinter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bican Samet went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 92nd minute Semi Hidayet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feyzullay Şahinter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Akköy SK fully deserved thier win.
