Batu Gökdoğan took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Günay Ülke. Günay Ülke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. ƒ¢ тαяıк υηıтє∂'s Günay Ülke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kılıçalp Balkanlı in the 16th minute of play. In the 21st of the match, Türkeş Sevgen tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Yusuf Bahadır Naci got in the way and made a wonderful save. Atay Battal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Atay Battal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, ƒ¢ тαяıк υηıтє∂'s Ahmet Seyfi Uğursel got a free kick in the 29th minute. Atay Battal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Esen Özkutsal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Konyaspor's Yusuf Bahadır Naci got control of the ball when Atay Battal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yusuf Bahadır Naci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Türkeş Sevgen in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mansur Yücesan to strike the kick off in the second half. Güntekin Baray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Yusuf Bahadır Naci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yusuf Bahadır Naci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atay Battal, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 64th match minute, Konyaspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atabek Onar to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute of the match Arif Yeltekin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yusuf Bahadır Naci skillfully saved the ball. Levent Sarik kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. A hard shot by Faruk Nafiz Durul from long distance, 78 minutes into the match, got Günay Ülke's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A collision led to ƒ¢ тαяıк υηıтє∂ getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Konyaspor's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
