Hızır Demiray who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Cenk Rıza when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Balkanspor FK's Cenk Rıza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Balkanspor FK from getting a goal against them. Sertel Denizer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 40 minutes, Sertel Denizer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carsamba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sertel Denizer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Balkanspor FK! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sertel Denizer to make the kick off. After 80 played minutes, Carsamba's Güral Kırdar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cenk Rıza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carsamba reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sertel Denizer in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cenk Rıza saved Balkanspor FK from getting behind. In the 91st minute Hızır Demiray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cenk Rıza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Carsamba were the better team. Carsamba's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
