After having played for 5 minutes, Çağatay İzzet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarkisla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Çağatay İzzet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cenk Hünkar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hıncal Öktuğ, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hıncal Öktuğ in the 9th minute of play forced TRABZONGULDAK's goalkeeper Cenk Hünkar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Şeray Ziya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sefa Tur having to interfere. Hıncal Öktuğ took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cenk Hünkar. Cenk Hünkar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Cenk Hünkar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hadi Baytugay, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 23 played minutes TRABZONGULDAK got a freekick which was hit by Vedat Fişek. Hıncal Öktuğ struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Cenk Hünkar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarkisla. 26 minutes into the match, Hıncal Öktuğ notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of TRABZONGULDAK's Cenk Hünkar. Cenk Hünkar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Enginsu Nadir's late challenge caught a Sarkisla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enginsu Nadir helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st match minute, Sarkisla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dursun İplikçi to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, Sarkisla's Hıncal Öktuğ sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cenk Hünkar narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

TRABZONGULDAK's Enginsu Nadir got his second yellow card of the match in the 51st minute. The referee ordered Enginsu Nadir off the ground. Şeray Ziya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Sefa Tur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hıncal Öktuğ in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cenk Hünkar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 66th minute Hıncal Öktuğ shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cenk Hünkar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Hadi Baytugay came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Sarkisla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hadi Baytugay couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Sarkisla's zone, Şeray Ziya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sefa Tur came out of the goal and Şeray Ziya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Şeray Ziya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hıncal Öktuğ came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Sarkisla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hıncal Öktuğ couldn't finish the play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cenk Hünkar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cenk Hünkar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hıncal Öktuğ in the 95th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sarkisla walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
