Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 14 minutes into the match, Laurentiu Florea notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Konyaspor's Kamber Gençyaz. Kamber Gençyaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rüknettin Akatay came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Türkeş Ersavaş could save by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hamdi Yetişbey during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Hamdi Yetişbey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24thth minute of the game Laurentiu Florea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Konyaspor's Kamber Gençyaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kamber Gençyaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurentiu Florea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Rüknettin Akatay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Türkeş Ersavaş was a little too slow when Mecnun Ergök got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 1-1. Mesut Verim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Kamber Gençyaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Laurentiu Florea made a precise shot to the right of Kamber Gençyaz. Konyaspor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Emrah Abdulhakimoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After 48 played minutes Saray got a freekick which was hit by Hakkı Deniz Maksum. After the first half Saray were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Laurentiu Florea was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Mesut Verim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, İlhami Göktürk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Konyaspor's supporters rose to their feet, but İlhami Göktürk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Türkeş Ersavaş breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Türkeş Ersavaş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mecnun Ergök, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Konyaspor's zone, Laurentiu Florea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kamber Gençyaz came out of the goal and Laurentiu Florea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 65 minutes, Şeref İskenderoğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Konyaspor and the Saray players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th minute, one of Konyaspor:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Konyaspor. In the 66th minute there was a penalty for Saray. Laurentiu Florea stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kamber Gençyaz. 1-3. After 71 played minutes, Saray's Gugu Melo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kamber Gençyaz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Saray reached it. Kamber Gençyaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hakkı Deniz Maksum in the 72nd minute of the match. After 73 played minutes Konyaspor got a freekick which was hit by İldeniz Alan. After 76 minutes of play, Konyaspor's İlhami Göktürk made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Türkeş Ersavaş was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 83 minutes, Mecnun Ergök managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Konyaspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mecnun Ergök was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emrah Abdulhakimoğlu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kamber Gençyaz. Konyaspor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laurentiu Florea in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kamber Gençyaz saved Konyaspor from getting behind. Saray's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
