After a defensive mix-up in Özgüzeldere JK's zone, Kerimhan Ergüvenç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. İdris Lokman came out of the goal and Kerimhan Ergüvenç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 6 minutes into the match, Kerimhan Ergüvenç had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of İdris Lokman. Özgüzeldere JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kerimhan Ergüvenç was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 8th match minute, Özgüzeldere JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ümit Salahaddin to maneuver through the defense. When Mesut Tanacan came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Rize Osmanlı FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mesut Tanacan couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ekber Rebi during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. İdris Lokman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kerimhan Ergüvenç in the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th match minute, Rize Osmanlı FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samet Bera to maneuver through the defense. Rize Osmanlı FC's Kutlu Ülke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birdal Aktaç in the 13th minute of play. Akif Canberk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ekber Rebi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 25 minutes had been played. In the 26th match minute, Özgüzeldere JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ekber Rebi to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kerimhan Ergüvenç in the 30th minute of play forced Özgüzeldere JK's goalkeeper İdris Lokman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rize Osmanlı FC's Akif Canberk got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. İdris Lokman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Akif Canberk went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 44thth minute of the game Akif Canberk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Özgüzeldere JK's İdris Lokman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kerimhan Ergüvenç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. İdris Lokman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdullah Naci to make the kick off. Özgüzeldere JK's Erdoğan Alan got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Özgüzeldere JK's goal looked a bit too open when Ersin Yildıran came free, but İdris Lokman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Özgüzeldere JK's Temel Cihanser got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Hulusi Oymen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Özgüzeldere JK's goalkeeper İdris Lokman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kerimhan Ergüvenç.
