Ordu's Esen Ünalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yaman Özpinar in the 4th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kürşat Emrettin got free with Abdurrahim Canatan in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 8th minute, Metehan Nuralp reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Abdurrahim Canatan. The goal made the score 1-0. Halfeti SK were furious when Ahmet Göktuğ Talu was red carded, 12 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. When Rauf Alp fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Halfeti SK's protests and gave Rauf Alp a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th match minute, Halfeti SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rauf Alp to maneuver through the defense. Ordu's Oğuzalp Özsan took a good shot, in the 27th minute, which hit the crossbar above Abdurrahim Canatan's head, and flew over the goal. Halfeti SK's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Ordu. A collision led to Halfeti SK getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Yaman Özpinar hit a great ball. Abdurrahim Canatan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oğuzalp Özsan in the 31st minute. Tuncay Dilşad kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Ahmet Gökalp Akbora managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ordu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Gökalp Akbora was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kıvanç Birdal to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Ordu's Sancar Akyüz got a free kick in the 51st minute. Davut Süreyya tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Esen Ünalp. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-1 in the 52nd minute. 58 minutes into the match, Halfeti SK's goal looked a bit too open when Kürşat Emrettin came free, but Abdurrahim Canatan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute Metehan Nuralp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdurrahim Canatan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Metehan Nuralp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdurrahim Canatan having to interfere. Halfeti SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ordu the free kick. Abdurrahim Canatan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Metehan Nuralp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Metehan Nuralp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ordu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Metehan Nuralp took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abdurrahim Canatan. Abdurrahim Canatan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Esen Ünalp made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Kıvanç Birdal sent off a good shot on target. For all the effort they put into the match, the Halfeti SK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ordu.
